Formed in 1948, the Worksop and District Photographic Society caters for photographers of all levels of skill and ability.  The society meets every Wednesday in the winter season running September through to May, outside of these times, the society members meet for summer events, you can read more about these on our programme and news blog pages.

Within the weekly meetings a mixed series of events are planned, these range from arranged lectures with some of the best lecturers on the photographic circuit to judged competitions.  All formats are accommodated, slide, print and digital to ensure that all our members are given an equal chance to submit their images.

Affiliated with the North East Photographic Federation, the club enjoys enviable success at national competition level and also boasts a number of highly successful photographers with national and international accreditations.  More about these photographers can be seen on our spotlight page.
